In Lens & Language: Exploring Photography through English, you’ll explore both the art of photography and your unique perspective on the world. This EPW is for anyone interested in using photography to express themselves and engage in personal reflection, regardless of prior experience. Throughout the course, you’ll research famous photographers and various techniques, practice taking photos that represent your vision, and even experience what it’s like to be both behind and in front of the camera. As a class, we’ll discuss our work, sharing insights on how these images shape our perceptions and inspire our creativity. By the end of the course, you’ll select your favorite shots for an art gallery exhibition, where you can showcase the photos and reflections you’re most proud of.
