| U09 | Life is a Comic Strip | Hi there! Are you a Marvel Universe fan? Or a DC? Do you like comics? Is your just as funny as a cartoon? If yes, your place is here! In our club, we think that life is a comic strip and we are the characters 🙂 Come to us and you will learn to create the comics all by yourself! In our club, you create YOUR OWN COMICS with your own characters and jokes! And everything is in English, so it is like real ones! It’s a lot of fun! How about the end? In the end, you can share your comics with everyone and maybe become famous 😉, and there is a surprise waiting for you as well! But please be ready to do a lot of work! And think twice if you don’t like to draw, because you will need to draw a lot here! Note: Do not confuse it with Comic Book Society Club! They do everything online, but we will draw our comics on paper using colored pens. |

In StoryFrames, students will read and analyze graphic texts with the ultimate aim of creating their own graphic short stories. You don’t need to be an artist to join! You can draw basic images or use AI to help you create your pictures as well. However, you do need creativity and the desire to tell a story! Each week we will look at different elements of graphic novels and short stories so that students can apply these elements to make their own graph short story individually or with a partner. You’ll give and get feedback from your classmates and finish with a story you can be proud of! |
